Philippine Airlines (PAL) will kick off the 39th MassKara with a pre-festival concert on October 7 at the Bacolod City Government Center, featuring the highly popular, hit-making band Sponge Cola and other rock artists.

Early-bird MassKara visitors and local residents will be feted to exciting games and prizes at the concert – dubbed PAL Night – courtesy of PAL and its affiliate companies – Asia Brewery, PNB Savings, PNB Credit Card, Eton Properties and Resorts World – as well as Mabuhay Miles, the flag carrier’s passenger loyalty rewards company.

Concert starts at 7:00 PM.

After flying in hundreds of thousands of tourists and visitors over the last 39 years to Bacolod for the city’s biggest and world-renowned festival, PAL is participating for the first time in full scale at this year’s MassKara.

PAL will also join the MassKara float parade on Oct. 26 and 27.

The country’s first and only 4-Star airline started flying to Bacolod in 1946 at the resumption of operations after World War II.*
